Partial continuous flow? No more.

Publication through the continuous flow of electronic journals is a discussion that lasts for a long time, both in this journal and in the world of scientific publishing as a whole. How to publish in continuous flow if it is necessary to structure editions with mandatory percentages?

Continuous flow came to the world of scientific publishing of electronic journals in order to facilitate and streamline all processes. But what is a continuous flow and how to accomplish it?

In theory, the continuous flow should enable submission, evaluation, return, correction, editing, layout and publication. However, how can we accomplish this if we have to follow numerous requirements and standards for the preparation of each edition?

Well then, in the same way that Health Sciences evolve, the Science of Scientific Publishing also evolves and the Global Clinical Research Journal supports, discusses, encourages and acts in continuous improvement to increasingly improve the quality of published studies, as well as as the processes.

After lengthy discussions and feasibility studies, the Board of Directors of the Global Clinical Research Journal announces that, as of February 27, 2023, the continuous totalitarian flow will come into force from the individual publication of the studies.

Yes, we made it possible for theory to become practice! Thus, we will follow the trend of speed of publication.

In this way, it is essential that the research authors collaborate in sending the necessary documentation within the requested period.

How will editions be published now?

The volume corresponds to the year of the journal. 2023 is the 3rd year of the Global Clinical Research Journal. In this way, all issues published in 2023 will belong to volume 3.

Throughout the year, studies will be published in the issues, which can be: currents, specials and supplements.

The publication will occur individually, that is, the issues will not need to be closed for publication, but throughout the year they will be fed individually.

We started 2023 with the totalitarian practice of continuous flow and submission of evaluations to more indexing bases.

I thank our Authors, Readers and Council for their trust and collaboration so that the studies published here are increasingly references for decision-making processes and solutions for the daily life of health units in Brazil, Portugal and around the world.

This is the Global Clinical Research Journal. Transparency, Ethics, Quality, Science, Continuous Improvement and Qualis.
